1. Information that we collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide, secure, and improve our platform.
- Waitlist information: If you opt to join our waitlist, we collect your email address.
- Account and Authentication Data (SSO): When you register or log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) features (including but not limited to Twitch, YouTube, Discord, X/Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat), we collect your platform account ID, display name and authentication tokens. This is used strictly to verify your ownership of the connected accounts. For streaming platforms, this is used to both authenticate, and get user metrics such as streaming history (last stream time) and if you have any VODs to verify you are not a bot. This initial bot check happens entirely in memory during registration and is never saved to the database. Authentication tokens are also deleted immediately after use and not stored.
- Profile and Platform Data: Users may voluntarily provide opt-in profile information, including streaming metrics, games played, profile pictures, personality tags, competitive types, streaming age ratings, language preferences and steam library game information (if opted-in).
- Platform Interaction and Usage Data: To facilitate matchmaking, referrals, collab searches by game, and connections, we generate and record internal Platform Account ID numbers, connection records, and match/rejection logs. Interaction logs are held only temporarily for up to 30 days.
- Communication Logs: For security purposes, system integrity, and community moderation, we record and store logs of all text chats transmitted through the Platform.
- Cookies and Tracking: We use essential cookies to maintain website functionality, manage user sessions, and keep you logged in.
2. How We Use and Process Your Data
We process your data under the legal bases of consent, contract performance, and our legitimate business interests:
- To authenticate your identity and verify account ownership.
- To operate the Platform's core matchmaking, search, and networking features.
- To send updates, testing round notifications (Alpha / Beta), and final launch announcements if you joined the wait list.
- To monitor, moderate, and maintain the security of our community.
3. Data Retention and Storage
We store your data securely within our databases and apply strict retention windows:
- Waitlist Emails: All emails are collected purely for the waitlist and will be permanently deleted upon official launch of the Platform, following the delivery of the final launch notification.
- Chat Logs: Chat logs are automatically retained for up to 30 days for security and moderation purposes. Logs may be retained longer if the chat is flagged, reported, or involved in an ongoing safety or terms violation investigation.
- Profile and Account Data: Retained for as long as your account remains active. You may delete your profile data or close your account at any time.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
